As summer comes to a close and school starts again, we thought we would share a bit of information on what we have been busy with over the last few months.
We have set up a not-for-profit organization in honour of Greg that will initiate and support projects that align with 3 focus areas that are inspired by Greg: Innovation & Impact, Roots, and Rural Innovation.
Our first project is a film called “Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story.” The short film (25-30min) was initiated because of a request for quality video content to use for medical education. Our hope is that the project will have an impact on doctors early in their training and will also create public awareness of cracks in the system.
We have had the privilege of working with a truly incredible cast and crew. The film was written by Andrew Wreggitt, directed by Dean Bennett, Nick Thomas is our Director of Photography and Kevin McGarry was cast as Greg.
We are grateful to everyone who has been a part of this project. Sharing Greg’s Story has already had an impact, and this short film will help us amplify our message further.
We will continue to post more information on the film over the coming months through the Greg’s Wings Projects website and social media channels as things progress.
If you are interested in learning more about this project, or about what we are planning for Greg’s Wings, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
